The area truly is a Wilderness, as it is virtually untouched by human change. You will be able to see black bears, deer, eagles, and numerous other wild animals that make their home in Blackjack Springs. The best activity to enjoy at Blackjack Springs Wilderness is to simply go hiking on the trails. I did this activity during my last visit and it definitely was an awesome experience. Overall if you are a ‘true’ outdoors person who enjoys packing up their backpack and setting out on the trail to hike and possibly even set up a tent and camp outdoors, then Blackjack Springs Wilderness in northern Wisconsin is the perfect place for you.
